- Well, I've been here in da UP for 4 years now. Love it more with each passing day. I love the snow but especially love the magical qualities of spring, when everything renews itself and the leaves and blossoms unfold. So many birds and animals. Miss beautiful Kauai and my family there, but this my "home" now.

Well, that was so much fun! Thanks for the snow creatures and the view of Lake Superior. Amazing. Spring will be wonderful and so will Summer and Fall...just wait out the snow--I think it's hard for everyone from what I read in all the blogs. Thanks for the road trip and congrats on your new Ford baby!!
