- Well, I've been here in da UP for 4 years now. Love it more with each passing day. I love the snow but especially love the magical qualities of spring, when everything renews itself and the leaves and blossoms unfold. So many birds and animals. Miss beautiful Kauai and my family there, but this my "home" now.

Jeese...amazing. I guess the longer you have to wait for Spring, the more precious it will be. And the more quilting you can do!!
It was warmer here today, 48 degrees!! WoooHoooo!! It was fun to go outside with the girls and look at the gardens, then, yep, back upstairs to do some more sewing.
